This is an original piece of tongan tapa painted by Sulieti Burrows, born in Vava'u, Tonga.

Turtles represent luck and money. This piece has a centralized turtle with a beautiful red background. The gorgeous border contains traditional tongan patterns.

Sulieti has sold art all over the world, taking great care of the tapa to ensure her customers get a fine production. size: 33.5 x 32 cm. The tapa has been treated to protect this fine material.
Signed and dated. A great piece to place on display in the home or a great gift to that someone special.
